The tires on my old, well-used hand truck finally gave out after nearly 20 years. These tires were the perfect replacement. They appear well made from excellent material and were easy to install. Of course, as with most small tires for hand trucks and wheelbarrows, you have to let the tires “air out” for a couple of days for the “new rubber” smell to dissipate. Surprisingly, they came 80% inflated which made it easy to finish inflation within seconds after installation. The hand truck has been used to move washers and dryers and even a medium size refrigerator and the tires have performed perfectly, with no loss of air pressure. So far, an exceptional purchase!

The rims are made of aluminum which wasn’t my concern, the WAY the HUB was soldered to the wheel! Clearly used an aluminum welding rod and NOT welded per se properly. This is a genuine concern because if there is an extremely heavy load on these wheels – and they fail from the low grade aluminum ‘welds’, there’s going to be a serious issue. Additionally, the bolts and nuts holding the wheels together, are NOT US SAE or Metric; it’s some off brand bolt pattern that I couldn’t find an exact socket for. I was able to use a 14 mm which mostly held on the nut side and the bolt head was a weird 6 point 12 mm?? But NO other 6 point or 12 point socket from 3/8′ to 14” would work?! However, the bolts were loose as others stated so certainly tighten them up before use. I have extreme reservation using these cheap products but will have to for now. I actually do NOT recommend these do to these fabrication qualities and should the nut fall off, you’re going to be struggling to find a socket.
