I bought this because a lot of the tire foam and shine products seem to be harsh on any part of the car that is not a tire and I wanted something to provide shine without worrying as much about possible staining or damage. Well I found the right product! This stuff is much easier to apply due to its consistency and it leaves a beautiful shine on the tires. I was also impressed by how long the shine lasted. 3-4 weeks after application and after multiple rain storms my tires still had some shine left. This stuff is the best I have found for shiny, black tires with easy application. Will definitely be buying again!

Works well. I have been applying with a paper towel. I wish this came with an applicator — some of the other brands that I saw at my local auto parts store come with a foam block applicator. Also be sure to wear gloves when applying — this contains orange oil which can remove the natural oils from your skin and cause irritation.

I own a Shellby GT500 that has mat stripes on black paint. Over the years, using vinyl maintenance products, the stripes got white residue on them. It was ugly. I tried everything suggested to remove the residue, polishes, alcohol, other products that claim to remove the residue. Nothing worked. This stuff did work, very very well. I don’t know how it worked, either the residue was removed or the light reflecting qualities of the vinyl were altered. Either way it worked. The only caveat is that it made the mat finish a tiny bit more shiny. If it is replace the stripes or have slightly shinier stripes I’ll take the former any day.

Used on my tires after cleaning and scrubbing with a 303 tire brush and P&S Brake Buster. It’s been a week and they still look like the day I applied the Adam’s stuff. I hate spray tire shines as they irritate my eyes and sinuses and this stuff works very well. I’m sure that I’ll seldom need to use this given it has silica and isn’t likely to sling off and wear away in short time.Edit: It’s been a few weeks since I purchased this and decided to put some on my girlfriend’s Jeep. The product applied well and looked great, however it rained the next morning and she drove to work in it. The tire shine has all disappeared. Docked one star as the product claims to be water-resistant and showed no such signs. I have recently driven my Subaru in the rain and the product definitely doesn’t appear to be nearly as visible, although it’s still slightly better than her Jeep – I assume it bakes into the tire a bit with time and heat, neither of which were generously granted on the Jeep. The product is water-based which I appreciate but I assumed that the Si02 infusion would allow for some water repellency.Edit 2: Washed her Jeep again yesterday and applied more VRT over her tires after having done the same last week. It’s much more apparent and water-resistant with multiple layers.
