The Carlsile AT489 is a great ATV tire and used as OEM by Polaris on a number of models. Replacing them at the dealership is a very expensive proposition, so finding these on line for about half the cost of the dealership makes them a phenomenal deal! It’s hard to find mid / low quality ATV tires for this price, let alone the high quality OEM ones.The only down side if there is one was the two tires were shipped from different warehouse locations and arrived a day apart (2 day free PRIME shipping). The first arrived two days after being ordered, the second arrived the next day. UPS thinks it’s funny too…but again, if that’s the only criticism then you really can’t go wrong.

The description clearly says the Country of Origin is USA but these tires say Made In USA right on them. I am horribly disappointed. These are the exact same tires (model number and everything) as the tires I was replacing and they were made in USA, so I was expecting these tires to be Made In USA especially since the description says the Country of Origin is USA. I would not have purchased these tires if I knew they were made in China. Amazon – PLEASE FIX THE DESCRIPTION. Unfortunately I needed the tires to get my machine running again so once I had them I went ahead and put them on. My rating is based on the description not necessarily on the quality of the tires.

We put these on our lawnmower because the original tires were worn and the lawnmower was sliding on inclines. My husband is very happy with them and is no longer sliding.

I purchased two of these to replace 2 rear Carlisle OEM tires on my Can Am. Oddly enough even though they are the same advertised size as the OE tires at 25×11-12 they are at least 2” wider. Normally I would be happy about getting more tire than I was expecting but these were wide enough that they are only about 1/2” from the rear coil overs and the first time I used them a rock quickly became wedged between the tire and coil over. So I’m probably going to have to put these on a different machine and go with another brand of tires for the Can Am.
