i had forgotten to drain my compressor for a while, and it was full of water, despite that i was able to spray a very clean job and no moisture issues, afterword when using just an air chuck with no filter on i realized i should drain it, and boy it was an embarrassing amount of water in the tank. so considering that, the filter exceeded my expectations with the worst environment it could reasonably be given. remember to use the filters purge often either way though, especially if using for painting

I use my compressor for a lot of tools and many of them probably appreciate a little extra oil in their air.But a paint sprayer isn’t one of them. A little oil or water can ruin a finish very quickly. This little filter cleans up the compressed air right at the input of my sister keeping the finishes safe.

I have used this filter on my spray gun for years with no issues. I have advanced my painting process and recently purchased two more spray guns. I also purchased the same oil water in-line filters and both have developed small cracks in the plastic housing and leak. My air pressure is the same. Possibly defective or being made with a cheaper plastic.
