Black Magic Tire Wet Gel makes tires look wet, black, and glossy, utilizing an advanced silicone formula to last longer and shine brighter than other products on the market. This weather and rinse-resistant formula keeps your tires looking black and glossy for weeks, not days, providing long-lasting intensity. The self-healing formula also has a scuff defense, automatically filling in small scuffs and maintaining a smooth, black shine. The thick clinging formula adheres to tires to produce minimal sling, and the residue-free shine leaves behind no white powdery residue. Detailer’s tips: For extreme wet, high-gloss shine: apply thick layer of product by dabbing product on tire. For high shine with lower-intensity wet look: dab a medium amount of product on tire, then use applicator sponge to spread out the product for a slightly thinner film. For long-lasting shine with minimal wet look: spread a thin layer of product across the tire with the applicator.

As my title stated:- Heavy gel applied by (furnished) Foam Pad. For years, I used sprays but found this gel/foam pad combination more neat when applying. I still used a Costco brush paper bag to protect my garage floor.- Has impressive initial shine. Lasts about 2 weeks and begins to fade into a dull look where lettering on the tire can be viewed, but no shine. At about 6 weeks, I think the protection is gone, and tire sidewalls will get dulled by UV sunlight.I also have the basic Turtle Wax Spray (about $4, Green bottle line vs. Black bottle premium), and the TW Spray is never shiny. So, this gel is much better if you want shine. The YouTube channels say you should also clean your tires at the same time you clean your wheels (so the shine gel/spray can adhere better). I don’t clean my tires, to avoid have tire dirt on my wheel brushes or microfiber towels, and adding more time to the entire car washing (2 bucket method), deep cleaning of wheels, and paint polish/sealant.Use gloves (kitchen, rubberized work, disposable) when apply any chemical; this stuff will get under your (unprotected) fingernails and you’ll smell like a garage for days.

I’ve always been a fan of black magic tire shine/coating. This one just takes it to another level. Rather than the liquid spray, it’s a gel and once you apply it you see the big difference right away with the shine. Not only that it lasts for weeks! My wheels got covered in brake dust over a couple weeks but my tires maintained the shine from the black magic gel. It comes with an applicator and I’ll say, the more you use it the longer the shine stays on even when your wheels get dirty. By the 3rd use, I applied a small amount of gel on the applicator and noticed the applicator still had some residual gel from the first 2 uses and I therefore didn’t need to continue adding more to the applicator. I went from tire to tire without extra gel and the shine just revealed on the tires. That’s how well & deep the gel works! The included applicator also allows you to apply it in a clean motion and not have residual on the wheels that you’d normally have to go back and wipe clean from a spray bottle.I’d say I’ll buy again soon, but it’ll be a long while! 3 uses and the bottle still looks like I haven’t used any! Though that may be different if your tires are not low profiles or higher than 30-35% aspect ratio.

If you really want shine dab it on and smooth it over with a sponge. Just be careful not to put on too much as you’ll get what’s called “sling“ which is spatter onto the body of your car but it’s excellent and always good.

Read the reviews for a variety of tire shines, I went with Black Magic because I’ve used there products before with great success. This gel is some thing else. Followed the directions. This stuff goes on thick using the supplied applicator. After an hour it was still tacky and the shine looks plastic.
