As the title says, scrubbing is necessary, more specifically for long term grime. After 4 years of not scrubbing any grime off, I used this product as well as a drill bit brush to bring back the shine of my stock rims. Without a doubt, this product is great, but if you have a lot of grime build up, you will need to scrub or wipe. I gave 4 stars since the product label of “no scrub” is inaccurate. I’ll update this review to see how it does when I use the product again in the future.

I know that this product is marketed as no touch, but I find that the best results are when you scrub the product on the wheel. The first time I did no touch washing with it, it didn’t work that well. Then I used a detail brush to work the product all over the wheel and the grime and brake dust just drips off. Makes my alloy wheels look brand spanking new. I can’t complain because I’ve tried other products and the result is not the same.

Cleans most brake dust, but requires hard scrubbing to clean well. Definately not a spray and rinse off capability.

It’s not overly acidic. This worked well to deep clean a nice set of 2000 OEM Jeep alloys. The outside looked ok but the inside barrel and back of the face were black. They are looking great now after an hour of lightly scrubbing with a stiff nylon brush. This did dirty up my driveway, haha.
