4/3/2020 update – I plan to pull these off for the summer but wanted to update. I think we put 4-5000 miles on them. They wore pretty good, maybe half tread now. I know the van they are on needs an alignment so I am guessing that is why. I dont even care though, they kept my family safe and did a good job. The only thing they struggled on was starting out at ice glazed intersections but was as expected. If you could stud these in your state, this would be the best of all worlds.Tires seem to have kind of a soft sidewall, they squat more than previous tires. I had one tire go almost flat too after it was working fine for several weeks and then one morning it was pretty much flat. Re mounted it with bead sealer and new valve stem and is fine now. Probably not the fault of the tire, kind of weird though. Treads are rounding off a bit on the dry pavement from putting on too early this year but lately even an inch of snow is making roads like ice. They do make a huge difference though in the snow, glad I got them on. I’ll be pulling off as soon as the snow is done in the spring though so it doesnt wear them down too much.** Update – Got these mounted and balanced with the Harbor Freight changer/bubble balancer and everything seems pretty good. Pretty easy tires to change your self if your into that kind of thing. More importantly these seem to drive well on dry pavement so far. Will update when I get these on some snow/ice.I havent mounted these yet, but I give them 5 stars to start just for looks and feel. These things are going to be crazy on my mini van. The Coopers, I think CS5’s did horrible last winter and when I run my hand along on the tread on these compared to the CS5’s its night and day difference. Now I have to say, the rubber doesnt feel as soft as my Blizzaks on my other car. These according to the site, are not true ice tires. I cant use studs where I live so I am really hoping they work well on ice along with snow. But for the price, these are almost half the cost as Blizzaks. Will update when I get them on and go through snow/ice.

SUMMARY: These are the snow tires to buy for reliable winter grip at a budget price.BACKSTORY: Winter arrived here in New England and my all-season front tires were down to the wear-bars. Since I intend to sell this minivan come summertime, I only wanted to spend a bare minimum. The rear all-seasons were OK, so I opted to deploy these Coopers only on the front wheels to tackle this Massachusetts winter and my steep driveway. I figured if I didn’t get the traction and control I desired, I could always buy two more for the rear wheels. Some reviews mentioned good dry and rain traction; others mentioned minimal road noise. Most reviews checked the boxes for good snow and ice traction. They were all accurate! I’ve been able to climb, accelerate, brake, and turn with confident control using these Coops on a variety of snow, slush, ice, and rain. Again – I ONLY BOUGHT TWO TIRES FOR THE FRONT WHEELS! With my all-seasons, I’d sometimes have to get a running start to climb up my slippery driveway; most times I’d have to take two or three passes. With these Coops, I’ve successfully slow-rolled up my driveway in conditions where I could barely walk down the driveway without flooping. In the past, I’ve owned Nokian Hakkepellitas (which were awesome). These Coopers had similar tread design and plenty of sipes. And from what I’ve read, the sipes are where it’s at on snow tires. BOTTOM LINE:• FWD Minivan• Two tires mounted on front wheels only• Negligible highway noise• Excellent grip and control on uphill icy driveway• All around solid performance on snow, slush, rain, and ice.• RECOMMENDED

Solid price with aggressive styled tread that looked like they would do well in ice/snow. Had them a few thousand miles and ride great. Very quiet which was surprising. We’ll see how they continue to hold up but I’m happy I selected them thus far! Mounted on a ‘22 Nissan Pathfinder

Tires purchased for winter tires for a 2022 Toyota RAV Hybrid. My wife travels frequently in this vehicle, often on very poor road conditions. They have passed her scrutiny with high scores so far! Fair price-quiet-smooth on dry roads and great traction on snow and ice! She also states that she has not noticed a decrease in fuel economy. Five stars early on!!
