This wheel cleaner is probably the best wheel cleaner I’ve used. You literally just spray it on, give a light scrub to agitate the brake dust off your wheel, and boom your wheels are like new again. However, it’s like twice the price of most wheel cleaners and you’re probably only going to get like 3-4 uses out of the bottle so I’m planning on only using it only vehicles that need a DEEP clean and using the cheaper stuff for my regular washes.

I’ve experimented with Chemical Guys products over the years, and I really haven’t been too impressed with them. Such is the case with this item. At this point I believe your just paying for the brand, Chemical Guys.I have Method MR317, painted wheels, and I was looking for a cleaner that would not be harsh or abrasive to the painted surface. Chemical Guys advertised this product to work with my wheels. Here’s what I found:1. The product is definitely not abrasive, and it appears to not harm my painted finish (I’ve only used the product twice, time will tell).2. The spray bottle was smaller than I expected for what I paid, and the actual sprayer does not work correctly. There are two options, one for a stream and the other for a wide angle spray. The wide angle spray does not work correctly, and I only have the option to stream, which does not distribute the product evenly.3. This product definitely does NOT provide any deep cleaning. To be honest I don’t know if it provides any better cleaning that just regular soap and water. Yes, it smells nice, like oranges, but I don’t care about great smelling wheel cleaner. I just want it to clean the wheels and not harm the finish.I don’t believe you get good value for what you pay for here. I believe soap and water work more effectively on painted wheels. The spray bottle is small, and does not function correctly. I will probably go back to my old faithful, which is Simple Green. I can buy a gallon of concentrated Simple Green for half of what I paid for this product, and I can make at least 10 20oz. bottle of Simple Green cleaner out of that concentrated gallon.I do not recommend this product.

The product worked great but the bottle would only dispense in a stream, not a spray to cover more of the wheel. This is the second Chemical Guys wheel cleaner I’ve purchased and had the same problem.

Breaks down and cleans break dust and grime very well. Expensive especially when maintaining large tires eg. Jeep Wrangler. Nevertheless I recommend this product

This is a really gooey sprayed. I’m surprised how well it sprays and it does stick to the surface well. Great for deep clean of your wheels. My only complaint is it didn’t go very far. I used 2/3 the bottle on one cleaning. That may have been my fault misapplying. But I thought the goal was to spray all surfaces and let it stick ans sit while doing its magic. So I need better instructions on application or this should be used only for an occasional deep cleaning. But it is a great product.

My first time using their wheel/tire cleaner. It’s nice not to much fragrance and it’s a gel so it stays on the tire until you rince. Best tire cleaner I’ve used. Also look into other projects they have.
