   Quality of the paint is impressive – Would’ve given five stars – the only issue I had was the applicator – the sponge was a bit “flimsy” although they provide a backup sponge

   First off, I’m sorry that you are reading this review. I know exactly how you feel. When I hit that curb it felt like my stomach dropped and my car was no longer perfect. Just remember it’s a car and it’s going to experience wear and tear.The product is what I consider a cheap fix. It will fix the damage to the naked eye but the scratch will always be there. It’s like a scar that heals overtime. Only you know it’s there and no one else unless they search for it.As you can see on the picture, the scratch is still noticiable after the application. But from a distance, you have to try hard to find it. I used the chrome black and it wasn’t the best match but it’s better than the scratch.Pros- cheap, easy to apply and will get you through until your next curb hit (it will happen trust me)Cons-tape doesn’t stick well and the paint isnt an exact match.

   First bought this in Anthracite as the picture looked closest to what I needed for factory Gunpowder colored 19 inch wheels on a U.S. 2016 VW Passat Rline. The color was NOT a match as the Anthracite kit was significantly darker. The color ended up being a good match for my wife’s factory Anthracite 2018 Mazda3 colored wheels however so I kept the kit. I then bought another kit in Medium Silver and the match is spot on for my Passats’ Gunpowder wheels. The kit worked well. Clear instructions, everything you need, quality paint, etc. Looks much better than curb rashed wheels. Just keep in mind it’s a QUICK repair kit, you don’t even have to take rim off. In other words don’t expect perfection and you’ll be satisfied with the results!

   I ordered Satin black for my wheels but maybe I should’ve opted for gloss instead? Overall I’m satisfied with the product considering the price I paid. The curb rash is almost invisible to me now so I can only imagine someone not knowing where to look being oblivious to the repair. Worth it for the money just get the right paint color.

   I ordered the Platinum and Medium Silver for the alloy wheels on my 2016 Subaru Impreza. I had some ugly curb rash that I was trying to cover up. The Platinum worked quite well. Looks much better than it did. If you’re up close, you can tell there was some touch up, but step back a few feet and you can’t even notice it. For $16, that’s a win in my book.Word of warning though…this product can’t be returned. So, now I have the Medium Silver that I have no use for. I bought both thinking I could return the one I didn’t need. Guess not!

   Let’s face it, you’re not getting this professionally done and you’re saving a boat load of money. I’ve used this product on my rims multiple times and it does the job just right. Perfect match with the gloss black on my rims. Granted, it’s not perfect but if that’s what you’re looking for then go get it done somewhere. Totally a bang for your buck and looks great if you’re not looking at the paint job with a magnifying glass.

   I personally don’t think this is a good product unless the scratches are superficial. If the scratches are deep it’s hard to sand by hand and try to get an even surface… Not to mention the color really doesn’t match. I would skip this unless you’re a professional, in my opinion

   Need to follow the instructions properly, might get a little messy if you don’t take precautions. Looks like came up fine. hopefully, it will last long enough
