The product is unique and works well however it’s important to note this is actually a tire coating and to fully understand what that entails…This is not a traditional dressing sitting on top of the tire loosely adhering to the rubber surface. A “tire coating” is comparable to wood finish/sealant. As you may know, you’d seal wood by painting clear acrylic sealant (essentially, a coat of plastic) onto a perfectly prepped, dry, and raw wood surface then it chemically bonds as it cures dry. Same concept with this product – it is quite literally a flexible clear acrylic sealant that needs to be applied/painted onto a perfectly prepped, raw rubber surface. All this is to say, you have to be methodical about prepping (I.e., chemically stripping) the tire thoroughly to get the advertised results. You will get the results if you do the prep properly. Some tips: 1) If you want a lower shine, apply one or two coats only. 2) When prepping, do not let the cleaner residue sit on the wheel for too long. 3) When applying the sealant, it helps to think of massaging it into the tire so don’t be afraid to smoosh and wiggle the applicator when needed.Ultimately, it is a nifty, pro-level product but one star off for the prep instructions being slightly different on the box than they are on the included pamphlet plus having grammar issues/typos.

This review is mostly for people with larger truck tires such as 35 or 37’s. This kit includes plenty of degreaser and product. The time to clean the tires is lengthily for sure but this supplied degreaser is double the strength of purple power and does a great job. The seller has a video where he uses a paint brush to apply this product to large truck tires. I experimented with this method but couldn’t get it to apply like he does in the video. I instead modified this to use the paint brush, applying the product on the brush while holding over the applicator sponge. I then blotted around the thicker tire parts with the brush followed by also blotting the applicator sponge. Took me 3 hours total to clean and apply to 4 37inch tires. So far so good. A lot for large tires should also be offered with a brush and different applicator. Just my 2cents.

I’ve used any number of products over the years, and have been watching this, trying to find fault in it. Which I could not. Yes, it’s expensive. But after 52 years of roaming this big ball of mud, the adage is true – you get what you pay for. 32 days into the application, the tires look the same as the day I applied it. The actual application of the product is a cinch … it’s the prep work that is time consuming. IF you have anything on your tires from before. This is my daughters car, I know it came from TN, spent a little time in CA, then landed in AZ. I have no idea what others put on this set of tires before we bought it, but they were DIRTY. The advice in the videos is solid – keep applying the cleaner and cleaning until the liquid coming from the scrubbed area is white. Only then, is the tire ready for the product application. 4 rounds of cleaning on each wheel took place, this took hours. For my next vehicle, I will get the wheels off the ground so I can rotate them as I clean the tire. For this vehicle, I simply moved the car a few feet after each round of cleaning. I bought a multi car kit, and the amount of liquid I used on this application was minimal. I think I’ll run out of cleaner before I run out of dressing. Also, I used the curved / pointed sponge for the application … and I don’t think I will again. I think next time, I’ll use the pad vs the sponge, further reducing the time it takes for the job. Other than that, I’ll be fan for a while – this stuff rocks!

I don’t normally leave reviews but I absolutely love how this turned out so thought I’d share a few pictures. I actually bought this a few months ago and then got spooked by the instructions how long they were and how much time I was gonna have to spend cleaning and applying, so it’s just been sitting until this last weekend felt like it was a good time to try. I watched lots of videos on their site and also YouTube to make sure I was doing it right. I spent close to 2 hours just cleaning, rinsing and repeating. My particular tires have a lot of nooks and crannies and are 35” so it honestly was a big job. I scrubbed and scrubbed until my hands were raw and it got dark. I decided to not rush applying the dressing before dark and did it the next day.My kit didn’t come with the spray bottle for the dressing it just had the foam pad/ sponge thing. Would have loved to have had the sprayer but it worked just fine. I put on several coats I’d say at least 4 per tire and it got to the point where it wasn’t really making a difference… it’s kind of like: once it’s on it’s on ya know? You’ll know when you do it what I’m talking about. It does dry super fast so make sure you don’t leave excess on there or it turns into a white little gunk spots so just make sure you scrub it in right away and don’t leave it sitting. This review has gotten long lol but I’m super happy with how my tires turned out and it’s amazing walking up to my truck looking like it just barely had spray tire dressing put on from auto zone (you can see how brown my tires were from those spray ones before… also note I haven’t sprayed in a few months leading up to my putting dura dressing on because I watched videos and it said the more silicone you put on, the harder it is to take off etc or whatever).. trust me it was still hard to take off lol.In conclusion, if you’re still with me I am very satisfied with the product. You do need to put in the work to clean but tire size and age/ condition will vary so I would say for the average car tire this would be a breeze. Personally I bet I spent 3-4 hours in total but it’s well worth it now that it’s permanent. Hope this helps!
