I bought this unit to balance out my tires on my car. It seems to work just fine with a couple of small caveats:First – while the unit does cut off at the set air pressure, it seems to be a little generous when measuring PSI – I set my pump to 36 PSI for my tires and when I measured with a manual air pressure gauge that I know to be accurate, it was actually 34.5 PSI.Is this a dealbreaker? No. But just be aware if you buy one of these units that you need to measure with a known gauge that is accurate so that you know what the actual differential is – in my case I just have to remember that what the CarSun is measuring is actually 1.5 PSI ABOVE what the actual PSI is – no big deal and considering the price, I can live with this. The second caveat that I noticed is that this unit actually works a lot better when you let a little air out of the tires first before you try to reach your target pressure – when it’s really close to your desired pressure it seems to cut off too quickly. I have found that dropping the air around 4 PSI BELOW your desired PSI before you actually top the tire off actually produces much better results. In any case I was able to balance out my tires pretty well with this unit and despite the minor caveats, I would recommend.

The digital gauge seemed to exactly agree with my handheld gage meaning I don’t have to use the hand gage too as I can trust the unit digital gauge. Instructions could have been better as I had to figure that the +/- buttons are to preset the desired pressures. You turn on the power button and the compressor will stop at the preset pressure. I aired my 4 tires to 35 psi and my spare to60 psi. The R button is to toggle to the desired unit of pressure, in my case, psi. The hose cord could have been a little longer but the unit is very light and manageable and both cords are self contained within the unit for storage.

I bought this unit based on reviews on Amazon. I really like the unit. It’s smaller than the unit it’s replacing. It’s very easy to use, if you do it correctly. Here’s what I mean. You need to plug the unit in to your car’s cigarette lighter socket and turn the unit on and off. The only way I know this is I went to the company’s website. The little paper user’s guide is very small with even smaller text. Like I said, just plug it in, turn it on then off. Attach the end nozzle to your tire valve and lock it. Turn the unit on, set the unit to the air pressure you want to inflate your tires to, including 1/2 lbs. and turn it off. Then just turn it back on and it will do the rest, including automatically shutting off. That’s why I only gave it 4 stars.Print the user’s guide on larger paper and use a readable font.Otherwise very nice!!

I just received this item today and immediately went to test it. My wife had been mocking me that this $27 machine wouldn’t work well and that her over priced $150 air pump was better. I gotta say i’m impressed. It does the job well and it turns off automatically once it reaches the desired PSI setting. It took me about 4 minutes per wheel to go from 26 PSI to 36 PSI. A little slow for me when I have 4 wheels to do but makes quick work of the job if you only have a wheel or two to get through. I would buy this again if I had to.

I have a Tesla Model Y, and the tire pressure on the driver side went down to 35, which the recommended psi is somewhere between 40 and 42. I was skeptical due to the price but after reading some reviews I decided to give it a try. It worked like a charm! I set the psi to 42 and it stopped automatically when it reached to 42. And when I checked the psi on my car, it said 42 exactly! It’s been three days and the tire pressure hasn’t gone down.

Never again will I have to find a working air machine, without a line of people trying to use it, at a gas station again! No more fumbling for quarters, or using my credit card in the machine, sitting and waiting while someone fills each tire on their car before going back and doing each one again. I can put air in my tires at home, or anywhere (as long as my car is running). I love this little thing. It’s small, it’s super lightweight, very easy to use, and I only took points off for accuracy because I set it to 32 psi and the pressure reflected about 29. I bumped it to 35 psi and that took my tires to 32 psi, which is what I wanted. I checked with my own tire pressure gauge to be sure. I can’t recommend this inflator enough.

Assembly was fairly easy. Just remember the latch must come down as well in order for successfully go into the object needing air. I had a flat and after a few tries I was able to figure out what to do with the latch so air could go into the flat. The pump is easy to use and I look forward to using it on other things I.e. basketballs , bike wheels etc .

Easy to use and works great. Only warning is to make sure to convert bar to lbs in settings. That way you can fill tire to correct pressure.
