   I bought this a while ago for myself, just in case I needed something on the road while I worked for UberEats. I do 200 to 300 miles a day and for perhaps a year I’ve had it- it’s literally saved my backside over eight times.I’ve been stopped in the middle of Colorado mountains with no gas station in sight with a flat tire. I’ve had to refill my spare. I’ve had to help others on the side of the road in the desert too, even on bikes- there has been no end to the situations. As long as your car has power and your tire will still hold air for a few more miles until you can replace or patch it, this little baby will get you there.I was SO pleased with the quality and how well it handles. I set it, keep an eye on it, and it does the rest. I have since bought my girlfriend and her roommate one, my brother and my mother one.My ONLY problem is the accuracy. I wish I could do a 4.5 star on that purely because 2 of the 4 of the units I bought were slightly off. My tires usually sit at 34 PSI, I have to push it 37. And my girlfriends is a 37, and I/she has to set it to 40PSI. So 3PSI isn’t that much to be upset about but it can affect a thing or two. BUT that being said, the two I bought for my brother and mother don’t have the issue at all. Set it to 40 and you get 40- we swapped it on our cars and it’s just our units.Knowing that, I’m STILL very pleased with the air compressor and I highly recommend you get one for your family and friends. It’s kept me from very dire situations and the price is unbeatable for something that works this well. It does have multiple fittings for different tires too, but I’d recommend you just keep it in your car tools for the rare situation. Great unit, great ability to work in the worse situations, great cord length, and probably fills 0 to 40 PSI in less than 10 minutes if that.Buy it, you’ll thank me later!

   UPDATE 11/10/2022:On 10/25/2022 I emailed the Fortem customer service explaining my situation and asking I could do about it. About a week later they respond asking me for my shipping information and order number because they want to send me a replacement. After I sent them all the necessary information they tell me they’ve sent me a replacement. 2 days later I received my replacement.Excellent customer service.Original review:Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product. I’ve used it about 6 times now (once a month since I bought it) and it doesn’t work anymore. It worked perfectly at the start but around the 3rd or 4th time of using it I noticed it randomly refused to blow up tires. It just gave me a faint moaning noise. Not the loud “I’m blowing now” sound. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. Now it just doesn’t work anymore. It turns on, it detects tire pressure, but it won’t fill it up anymore.

   If you live in freezing temperatures so do your tires and they can feel it too. Low tire pressure indicated on my dashboard and checked all tires for their pressure and they all were low even though just one triggered the warning. Checking the proper pressure for make, model and year of car; they all needed air. Put the Fortem in action according to directions and the front tires I kept watch on the progress but hands started hurting even with gloves on so the back two tires with the set tire pressure I let run while I sat in the car and it shut itself off at the set tire pressure amount. What a frost bite saver it is! It works – so you don’t have to freeze while it does.

   My tires go low often and I am not paying for air. I also don’t want to be dependent on anyone. I have a larger compressor but I need to run a long extension cord and not always convenient. I got this based on reviews and I can honestly say, if you have this and a portable battery charger, you will be self sufficient. This was easy to use and I even read the directions. I had all four tires inflated so fast and so simple. Highly recommend as a female, this was amazing.

   This is a handy tool and I especially appreciate the length of the cord which plugs into the “ cigarette lighter “ I’ve already used it several times and it performed well and as advertised . I would definitely recommend keeping it indoors in cold weather and bringing it out to your car if you need it, as circumstances permit, so the extension to the tire does not become stiff

   This compressor has come in handy. It is very fast to inflate. My only knock on the purchase is that the accuracy seems to be off by 1/2 to 1 lb of psi. Also, when you lay it on the ground it vibrates and bounces around a little. I have had it to fall over and land on the power button and turn off while inflating. Nothing major, you just turn it back on and it gets to work. Overall very pleased with the product.

   I’m the lucky one to get the nails in her tires everytime. There are very few, if any gas stations with free air around here. Got a notification in my car about low air on one of them with nothing but a flimsy air pump, I filled up, that was my wake up call! I looked online and ordered this right away. It was perfect timing because almost a week later, I was going to work and the psi was 20/35, I took off the little machine out of the case, hooked it up and I was able to make it to work. Tire needed to be replaced but at least it kept me from missing a day or having a blowout.It comes with a carrying case that fits under the seat, cords are long enough, easy to manage, room for the plug/air hose to be tucked in,works quickly. The only downside, noise. It’s loud but it’s short lived and a little noise don’t hurt anyone. No more calling roadside assistance or waiting for help from anyone.

   I got flat tire, and I was able to pump enough air to make it to tire place without damaging rim. I am very grateful for this product. It was easy to use and much easier than changing the tire. I wish I knew about it before. I am getting one for my daughter to have for emergencies.
