Purchased this inflator/guage in April of this year. The chuck leaked and I notified the company and they sent a replacement chuck in timely fashion. I may have used the tool 3 times since then and it worked ok…chuck still leaked but it was minimal. Today, I use the guage/inflator to check some tires and based on the guage, the psi was 29….tire needed to be at 32psi. When I went to check every other tire, the guage read 19 psi…..if you added air, it reads 19 psi….if you remove air…you got it…19psi. Since the guage uses batteries to display reading, I changed the batteries in the hopes of a different reading…nope! I notified the company of the problem and “crickets”….no sound from the company. What I thought was a good guage is not and what I thought was a decent responsible company is not. I’ll be happy to update this review if I hear from this company as of now, the best way to use this tool is as a wheel chock! UPDATE: As promised if I heard from the company I would amend this review if necessary. The company did respond and after validating the problem to the satisfaction of the company, they have sent a replacement inflator. I have not yet tried it but they did make good on a replacement. The company deserves the benefit of the doubt at this moment and happy to say they did listen. I believe this company is in China so allow a minimum of 24 hours for a response

I own a shop and recently bought several of these AstroAI Digital Tire Inflators. A day after I received the order I received a note from the seller asking how I liked them. I explained that I really liked them (and I really do), but one of them had a very slight reading difference than the others. He apologized and said he was refering me to someone else. Within hours I received an email from a guy named Degree. He also apologized and said he was going to contact Amazon and have them send me a replacement.Get this, I received a replacement gauge the NEXT DAY! I was blown away with this customer service. You just don’t find this kind of service nowdays.Thank you Degree, and AstroAl now has a customer for life.

I had a similar digital gauge/inflator, from a well-known brand, for many years, but it eventually died, and I bought this AstroAI inflator as a replacement. As an inflator and gauge, it’s great – better than my old one. The chuck is much more robust and easier to latch onto the valve. I find the display easier to read – the backlight can be turned off if you want. I like that it takes AAA batteries rather than the coin cell of my older inflator. The extras included are nice – I have yet to figure out the twist-on extender, but I haven’t needed it. I already used one of the valve caps.

Until I received this device I did not know what I was missing. The old days of adding some pressure removing the pump and then checking pressure are over. This device is so simple and the connections are all reliable. Clampett on the tire press the button release the lever and noticed the pressure. Just couldn’t be any easier. It is well constructed and a most happy purchase for me.

I like the backlit face on it so you can see what the pressure is. I like the fact that you can constantly read it while you’re pumping and it is pretty easy to use. Feels like quality. My 2nd one so I knew it was good.

this works perfectly for my wife’s car which until you drive it, you don’t how much pressure is in tires with out airing, checking and repeating. Now check as I go. May be a pound off, but really close

Never bought from this brand, but it was honestly better quality than I expected. I work at a dealership and I’ve seen people with similar design inflators made of cheap plastic, but as soon as I took it out the box found that this wasn’t one of them. I expect it to last me for a good while, especially for the price. I tested it against a digital and a mechanical pressure gauge and it read true.

This inflator assembly connects to an air compressor hose, and replaces a basic inflator with: a basic inflator on a short hose, a pressure gauge, a squeeze trigger valve, a push-button pressure bleed-off valve, and a digital pressure gauge. The digital pressure gauge is backlit and easy to read. It turns on when it detects pressure. It also reads in several different units. I know it is accurate in PSI, compared to my old tire gauge. The power button is the same button to change units, so it can be confusing if you push the button when you didn’t mean to.The bleed-off valve seems to be pointless, but it is easier to push a button instead of bleeding of pressure with the inflator on the tire valve. The squeeze trigger valve is very easy to use: squeeze the lever, and air is released through the inflator. The actual inflator can be removed and replaced with other inflators for things like basketballs or beach balls. The inflator was difficult to use; the little clip is supposed to hold the inflator on the tire valve, but it didn’t, causing it to leak, unless I held it on.So, using this inflator assembly required both hands, one to hold the inflator on the tire valve, and the other to squeeze the trigger to add air to the tire.I’m going back to my old inflator and tire gauge. But then, I only have 8 car tires and 4 bike tires to worry about.
