The first compressor arrived with a malformed AC plug (only issue with kit). It was not possible to insert the plug completely into the power jack. It connected just enough for us to test the compressor’s function. I decided to message the seller directly and requested a replacement AC cord (email was provided in package insert). I also wanted the seller to understand that the cord was not made properly to size at the factory, in case they needed to stop production and have the issue fixed. Jerry (seller) was quick to respond and requested a short video showing the defect. Instead of just sending a replacement AC cord, a complete air compressor kit was sent- very professions. The replacement arrived the next day and functioned perfectly!Another reviewer slammed the product thinking it was defective First, you need to wait 3 full seconds after entering your target psi BEFORE pressing the engage/power button. Once the 3 seconds has passed, the display will stop flashing. This means the compressor is ready. This reviewer didn’t reach out to the seller and give them a chance to assist (part of their issue was not waiting the 3 seconds, and the other part pertains to the operating “tip” below). The seller’s response to that review was one of care and concern, which is why I opted to give the seller (Jerry) an opportunity to remedy our issue directly. If he had been unresponsive, then I would have pursued returning the item via Amazon’s standard return process. Here’s a tip for inflating lower pressured items (for us it was a reverse osmosis tank system that only needs 8-10 psi). Our tank only needed 1.5 psi to hit the target value programmed. After programming the desired psi and waiting 3 seconds for the display to stop flashing, the compressor would briefly activate when the engage/power button was pushed. A loud motor noise indicated the compressor was trying to work, but it immediately shut off (less than 0.5 second). I realized the compressor was being overly cautious and not engaging because it the measured psi in the tank was too close to the target value set for the machine. I had to “trick” the compressor by repeating entire process (set psi, wait 3 seconds, push engage/power, hear 0.5 seconds of machine engagement, then shut-off). Each time I did this, the compressor added approximately 0.5 psi. It would take the compressor a second or two the measure the current tank psi. I saw it was going up slightly. It seemed equivalent to a “manual mode” if that makes sense. To test my theory that the compressor was being overly cautious, I deflated a bike tire with a max psi of 40. I followed directions, and the compressor filled the tire in one round. It stopped at a psi of of just under 39. This let me know it works and has a cautious pre-programmed shutoff system of approximately 1.5 psi below target. To add the remaining amount and reach 40 psi, I repeated what I referred to a “manual mode”. It might help if the user manual explained this better… hope this helps spare another customer confusion and frustration.

First off, let me start with my situation. I did oilfield work for about 7 years, until Brandon came & destroyed the whole industry. That left my rims somewhat bent out of shape. They’re not SO bad that it’s any more of a problem outside of my tires needing to be aired up about once a week. With the oilfield devastated, I haven’t been in that field since 2020, first bc of the lockdowns, then ultimately bc of the work being widdled down. I simply bring this up because I cannot currently afford to get new rims with the new job I have had to take on since then. That’s where this nifty little pump comes in. It is a good price for a nice little travel pump. This will certainly work to keep in your vehicles along with jumper cables, etc.It has a light on it so you can see what you’re doing in the dark, in lieu of a flashlight. It can plug into your vehicle or a wall outlet & has multiple different air measuring settings (& attachments) for various instances, including but not limited to psi.First a few small complaints or irritations, then why I claim this is a good company.Firstly, it comes with 2 cords, 1 for your vehicle & 1 for the wall plugin. The complaint here is that the wall plugin is significantly shorter than the vehicle plugin. I think it should have been at least as long, if not twice the length bc I ONLY use the vehicle cord for this very reason. The wall cord is simply too short to realistically put to use. I have yet to find a wall plug I could park right next to, to put it to use, & it’s beyond easier to run my vehicle & use that cord than conjuring up an extension cord just to reach a wall outlet.Secondly, it’s a slight irritation that it doesn’t START in “psi” mode, as I feel this would be most common for everyone, but it’s really not that big a deal, just an extra, single button press to get there every time, & thankfully it DOES remember the last setting you put your desired PSI to, so you don’t have to enter that every time. You can plug it in, push “R” once to go to PSI, then hit power & get busy with something & it will automatically shut off at your set PSI, which leads the the 3rd complaint in that, this is a small pump so it takes a bit of time to air up your tires, but I assure you, it will get there.I would also like to point out that, while these are somewhat unfortunate, they are not at all a deal breaker for me, just some slight imperfections but the benefits this has given me far outweigh the cons. Now to the interesting part:I bought this in mid April & it crapped out on me in the first week of October. So not even a full 6 months. I emailed the company directly, explained my situation & asked for a replacement. They got back to me SAME DAY & asked for my Amazon purchase # & a video of what it was doing. Once that was done, they agreed to send me a new one, free of charge, without needing to send the other one back. They also asked that I not use it for longer than 10 minutes straight at a single time, which leads me to believe I may have burned it out. I have 3 tires to air up every week & I live in southern OK, & it’s HOT. Most likely worked the poor thing to death, every week of this summer for nearly 6 months straight! They were very professional, very courteous, very quick to respond, & very matter of fact in helping me through this.Because I used this thing for months & it has saved me spending ridiculous amounts of money on air at gas stations & the like, as well as the company stepping up & helping out with my predicament, I see no reason this product should not get 5 stars. It’s a good emergency (or full use, if you’re like me) pump that works, even if it takes a little time, & made by a company that is willing to put in the work to show they care about their customers. If you’re considering a travel air pump companion, I strongly recommend buying from Teromas.
