Bought this device and never used it for more than a year. Don’t know why I did that but I’m glad I finally started to use it. It’s a lifesaver! I can use it anywhere without any difficulty. I don’t have to worry about needing some assistance to do anything. And I don’t have to worry about locating the nearest gas station or service station to pump my tires. And I also don’t use any of the added valves included in the package. I just hook the longer tube/valve to the actual one extending from the device, hook it on the tire and done! As easy as 1, 2 & 3! For an older person or anyone with arthritis, this will not be a problem for you to use. You really need little to no pressure to attach the valve and press the on button! The one thing I also noticed is that, if I put a 32 or 32.5 air in using the PSI, I get 32.5 or 33. So that’s point 5 more than what I put in. The car still runs good and it’s not a problem for me. Just wanted to mention that for other consumer. Also, I keep mine in the house and not in the car but I do take it with me once I’m leaving the house for just in case….. over all, I’m very happy with this device and will definitely buy it again.

I’ve just got this pump and used it once – the Astro AI Air Compressor Tire Inflator to 100 PSI.Seems like a nice little device. My last pump lasted 2 1/2 years before the short little hose (maybe 18 inch?) on it blew out .That one folded into a nice square package to fit under a car seat, hence the tiny hose. This one has a nice two piece 26 inch hose, which is much better, and makes inflating your tires to the proper pressure much easier. I will keep it in the box it came in, in the garage.I found the pre-set pressure cut-off at 32 psi, and the built in pressure gauge helpful and easy to use.Requires a Cigar Lighter type plug, found in most vehicles. Always run your engine when using this pump, or you may need a jump. 11/28/2022.

I just used the AstorAI air compressor for the first time, and was very impressed. Let me first address some of the concerns others have written here.It filled my tires very quickly. Going from 22 PSI to 33 took 1 minute 15 seconds. (This is on a honda accord sedan, regular midsized tires.) I brought a stop watch outside because I wanted to time it. It then shut off automatically like it’s supposed to. So it was turned off between the 4 tires. At no time did the compressor even get warm. It was on for a total of about 4 minutes. The 4th tire filled up just as fast as the first one. It was somewhat noisy, but not ear splitting. I’ve seen worse.I used the included easy connect attachment. It worked very well. The screw mounts are made of metal. I was careful not to over tighten. At no time did any air leak.As for durability, the pump is made of plastic, but it is thicker and feels solid. I would treat the 12 volt plug carefully. It is thin plastic. But if you are someone who treats their tools with care, it should last a long time. This is so much easier than driving to a gas station, finding enough change, then holding the chuck tightly against the tire valve as it slides around and leaks half the air. Instead, you attach the hose, press the “on” button and stand there waiting while it does all the work. It even remembers the pressure you set, so you don’t have to reset it as you go from tire to tire.I’ll update this if it breaks soon. I only have one car, so about once a month is all the use it will get. If you don’t see an update it means “so far so good”. Enjoy —

Purchased about 10 months ago. Was using it to deal with a slow leak on a tire so not have to bring my car to gas station weekly. Easy to use or figure out–plug into socket, set desired pressure/PSI, plug the hose into tire valve, then turn it on….it will then continue to run until inflating to the set PSI before turning off. I got a flat tire on thanksgiving and had brought it with me on the long trip, it was used to fully inflate the spare tire which had gone low from just sitting unused for years; successfully inflated the spare to the recommended 60PSI. If you want to keep the pump working well, do not turn it on without the hose connected to the valve of what you are inflating. These types of pumps need some resistance, otherwise the pump runs too fast, which can damage the internal mechanisms….essentially, do not turn it on unless you have the hose connected to what you want to inflate. Also, to prolong the life of your pump, try not to leave it in a hot car in summer or below freezing car in winter, extreme temperatures will deteriorate the plastics and rubber of the pump quicker than if kept at mild or room temperatures. I only gave 4 stars because a bag or carrying case would have been nicer to store it versus the box.

So yesterday, I got on the hwy. BMW ! came up. I was like ugh no, make a u turn not going to pay for AIR. Drove back home and ran to take 2 of the air pressure gadget I bought last week. Sorry, I plug and use. Not time to read. I own a different machine but thats in my son’s car. I got the digital model and within 5 min I was done putting air in my tire. I give it a 5 for sleek and light weight. I give it a 4 for accuracy. Make sure the machine is outside of car and car is running when you putting air into the tire. I enter 31 on the machine and it stop putting air in my tire. I threw everything into the air. My car said 32. Once I go going both tires at 32 then 33. So if you enter 30 it will put in 31…thats my analysis. Just want to say I am very happy with my purchase!!! Great price and great value hands down. I don’t normally write a review but I was very happy.
