   I had the previous model and just within a year it suddenly stopped working. VacLife’s customer service was great and replaced it with this model. I’ve only used it about three times. It is lightweight, easy to use and does inflate tires, which is its primary purpose. The power cord is still extremely short so an extension cord has to be used. You have to attach it to the tire snugly or else it will not work. No big deal really. It does have a power cord that can be plugged into the car’s cigarette lighter port but again it may be of little use as it’s extremely short and won’t reach the tires. Don’t count on using it unless you remove the tire and get it close to the front seat of your car. I’m holding off giving it a recommendation since the last one I had failed in a short time. Before these I had a Craftsman’s tire inflator that I had for nearly 40 years.

   Like that the unit can be powered by 120v home current or 12v car current. Checked and added air to 3 vehicles using home power. The chuck did a good job of connection to stem without losing too much air. Raised a 25lb tire to 35 in 4 minutes or so. As air was added, the pressure gauge would increase in half pound increments. Just a guess, but it appears to have 2 pumps–one that runs off home power and one running off car power.Likes: The time it took to add air was very reasonable when it was powered by home electric. I did not attempt to power it by the car adapter. However, as the instructions indicate, start the car before using the unit to avoid draining the battery.Complaints: Two detachable cords (car and home use) come with the unit but they could be easily lost if the whole unit is not kept/stored in the box as there is no pouch for the cords, instructions or adapters. Even in daylight, the function of each of the buttons takes some experimenting. The built in pressure gauge was inaccurate by showing 2.5 to 3 lbs LOW. This was verified by checking the pressure against 3 manual pressure gauges. After setting the target pressure to 32.5, it would fill to 35.5. It took a few minutes of laying to determine how to change the target pressure. I have asked if there is a way to calibrate the pressure gauge and am waiting for a reply.Conclusion: This inflates within a reasonable amount of time on home power in a pinch. The construction and motor rest requirement after every 8-10 minutes of use, however, would probably cause problems if one wants to use it frequently.

   Item is attractive and light weight. Not as loud as some other auto air compressors. Very efficient and airs up a partially inflated tire in two or three minutes. Only negative I note about the unit is that on first use I had a little difficulty figuring out how to turn the air compressor on without turning on the flash light/beacon. It also has AC plug that can be used in the home for air mattresses and other inflatables or connected to an electrical cord and used outside. I only used it once to date and I am pleased with its performance. I also got a great deal.

   Very easy to set up. Bought one for a college kid to use in dorm parking lot. Like that you can preset the pressure so all that has to be done is plug in to car, attach to valve and start. Shuts off automatically when pressure reaches preset value so no worries over or under filling.

   I purchased this model because it had an AC power connection not just the 12volt to the vehicle. I used the AC connection with an extension cord and was able to inflate all four tires properly. The PSI setting was about 1 pound off from the vehicle. I used 36psi on the device to get the monitors on the vehicle to read 35psi which is really no big deal. Much easier than going to the gas station. Besides paying for air, finding a station with an air pump that works is a task in itself.

   This product looks good in the pictures – it is photogenic. In reality it has the look and feel of a child’s toy.But it works great. Easy to carry, easy to connect, inflates whatever it is quickly. (The same cannot be said for some others.)

   Great product. Had tire damage and a large tire dealer stated it would be 2 weeks before they could fix and replace tires. Pre-covid days this would be done in an hour. This is now a Must Have for all drivers.
